Parfait or the little red fly, as she is commonly known here at home, earned her knick name as a kitten. She couldn't stand the sound of a buzzing fly. When one would fly inside, she would literally fly about the house until one of us caught it.

Parfait had a rather short show career as she didn't care for the Judge's cages and would hold onto the bars for dear life. After one humiliating show, where she not only held on but growled at the Judge, I reluctantly decided that SHOW BIZ was not for her.

She retired with grace and made her mark as a super Mom and wonderful producer of lovely quality kittens. All but one of her Grands, GP Playwickey's Pot Luck, was sired by GC Demiara's Sweet Talk of Playwickey.

In May of 1999, Parfait retired. She is now the lap cat she was born to be, and has dutifully taken her place on the bed with me.
Update: Parfait died on January 24, 2005 from cancer.

They are from left to right: Playwickey's Harpo, with a darling girl, Playwickey's Cherry Jubilee, a red classic tabby female and Playwickey's Chili Pepper, a red tabby male.

I am happy that Parfait saw fit to give me one little girl in this litter to take her place in the Color Point Carrier part of my breeding program.
